Google removed the hundred-result page: what changes
The parameter that returned a hundred results at once is gone. What it costs, what happened to your Search Console impressions, and what we changed.
For twenty years you could ask Google for a hundred results in one request. That parameter is gone, and the shockwave went through every rank tracking tool, every Search Console report and every data provider price list.
What changed
Tracking a keyword down to position fifty now costs five requests instead of one. Some tools raised their prices; others quietly reduced the depth they check without telling their customers.
An unexpected side effect
Many sites saw impressions collapse and average position improve overnight without changing anything. Those were phantom impressions generated by tools, never seen by a human. If your impressions dropped while clicks held, you lost nothing: you are finally seeing real numbers.
What we did about it
Rather than raise prices or quietly cut depth, we changed how we check. The tool reads page by page and stops as soon as it finds your site. A keyword ranking third costs one request, exactly as before.
